My mental health has taken a nose dive. I’m considering breaking up with my fiancee so she doesn’t have to go through the hassle of dealing with me anymore.

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Hey all, I’m considering a position with KPMG’s Deal Advisory / M&A service line as an M. What are your thoughts on 1) work life balance, 2) business outlook, and 3) culture? The salary is very competitive.

Does experience in financial due diligence with Big4 ensure good future opportunities ? Also how good is it for an MBA finance considering the majority of crowd I have found being CA on LinkedIn..
