Being a technical PM feels like I have less ownership.
All decision making is done in the presence of engineering and data science. In addition to that there is another PM that actually leads the UI of our overall application so often times they are the ones directly interacting with a user and giving us requirements very much in a waterfall way. I just lateraled as a first year associate in a specialized finance practice with one main partner and a handful of mid levels. The practice group is actively hiring laterals. But as the only junior associate so far, I don’t have very many people to ask for help, and I have a lot of questions about how to do my work, whether it’s okay to respond to an email in a certain way, etc. The partner is disorganized and requires a lot of follow up before he reviews or answers me. How do I manage this?

Anybody with approved H1B but not stamped due to no on-site opportunity? Any ideas what should be the next step ? Can I apply for deloitte US job directly? Or look for jobs outside using the same visa approval?

I’ve been on an H1B for many years with an approved I-140. Can I work outside of the US for 1 year (in Canada where I am a permanent resident) and come back on an L1? I understand the green card processing time on L1 is significantly faster.

I reached out to BAL and they said if role/responsibilities change ill have to start from first. Does change of desination mean change of role ?
