A few times whilst I've been here, we've had an office move around. Once the desks were in a circle and we were all facing each other, that didn't last long. Office layout makes a difference.

Yes I can imagine that could have been an awkward interaction (or good) depending on your office culture etc. Yes I do believe you have to work comfortably to work at your best ability.

At my last place, we switched to letting people pick their own start and finish times within core hours. It sounded minor, but it transformed morale almost overnight. Flexibility really does go further than people expect. What’s worked in your team?

Oh my that’s a lovely thing to start, that gives people their flexibility and freedom and it shows that the employer cares. Tbh we are a bit like that but it’s never really been mentioned, I’ll obviously ask if I need to pop home a bit earlier or start later etc and without a doubt they are like yeah you do you, really has such a positive impact

I am embarking on egg freezing soon and I got some unpleasant news today after a scan. I had a scan 2 months ago and my follicle count was slightly low then. As I was on birth control at the time, I had to go off it and repeat the scan two months later. In the 2nd scan we found that I only had 6 follicles and that we would only be able to get 4-6 eggs per cycle. I am 36 and I decided to start this process now more just as backup. I have never dreamt of being a mother and yet this news has (cont)

Just wondering about how is the WLB in HSBC account of Synechron, Pune? I am reading so much of pros and cons on Glassdoor and here. Some are saying the cons like Hire and fire are a FAKE news.

I have the highest offer in hand from Synechron with HSBC client. Please help me make up my mind whether I should join them or not..?

I have another offer with LTI as well but just a marginal difference in pay, and the Location is Mumbai. Should I choose LTI instead?

Please Help!!
