Looking to create a survey to send out to our customers to get an idea of what kind of content they’d like to see from us. Any suggestions on high-value questions to ask?

More than a survey, there are companies that offer you this type of service, that way you can point your brand in the right direction, that is, you can see how they see the brand in your community.

The best way to do this is with a gift, that is, discount coupons or small gifts to fill out surveys, remember that it is other people's time and for everyone, time is money.

A good way to get to know your community is by streaming and allowing people to connect directly to the stream, watch the chat repeatedly and see what kind of community you have.

what kind of product/service are you selling? specifics matter here I think

If it's about creating content I would just look at top performing formats. What platform are you working on?

Here's one: "What kind of content would you be interested in seeing from us?"

How do you use our product/service? that should help you get an idea for content on the solutions that your product provides

Why do you choose our product over other similar options? If there are no competitors then you would make that the selling point of the content

Here's an extensive list of questions, not all of them will apply but a few will def come in handy: https://www.hotjar.com/blog/customer-feedback-questions/

what's your favorite part about our service? What do you use our product for? What would you change about our product?

Staying at the Ritz and STR in the Maldives so expecting good service and reading mixed things about tipping. I usually don’t tip much at hotels (never really thought about it) but what do people do? Is there an expectation and would the amount be based on like room rate or just a flat daily per day?
