Has anyone made a move from audit to consulting as a senior and could you speak a bit about the process??

I’ve been at a job for a few months and hate it - partners set unrealistic deadlines, micromanage, and create work that truly is not necessary/push urgency when there is no real urgency. I had other offers prior to accepting this job that may still be options, and going back to my old job (for a pay cut) might also be an option. I can’t tell if this is just burnout, growing pains, or just an untenable work environment. Would you ride it out for a year at new job or pursue other options? HELP!

Hey. I was wondering, what are some jobs that you wouldn't take on the basis that you don't feel it's ethical? For me, I just would never work for a defense contractor or anything to do with the FBI, CIA, etc. I also don't ever plan on being a manager.

Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. The reasons for my dismissal are unclear and I would like to get legal advice on the termination agreement and severance package that was offered. Pros/cons of having both a manager and senior manager on a job?

Unfortunately was dragged into an audit despite the fact I don’t work in audit. Why does audit RM say yeah your hours will be 50 hours/week when you’ll have to work way more to do the audit. Seems very dumb - if you have work do it, if not don’t work…

So is being an in-charge sitting around doing stuff all day but still feeling like you got nothing done?
