Honestly I already use AI a lot for creative, insights, testing, etc. I’d like my next move to be more of a creative technologist, but the most effective ways I use AI are mostly invisible in the final product. I’m looking for ways to add to my creds in the space beyond “trust me, I use it.”

Perhaps a proactive project where AI is integral to the idea or output? That way you have a tangible proof point in your book / resume.

I don’t think there’s a real AI certification or anything yet.

AI is about how specific you can be in your words and reference material to brief an alien consciousness that is being heavily redacted by the NSA and AI developers to not reflect back to you the worst of human collective thought. Imagine a Jr Art director that spent last night reading all of Reddit while listening to every song ever made all at once.

I really liked the New School AI leadership certificate program. 6 units all online, covers the thinking about AI and practical approaches.

That being said it is so specific right now, diving into what application of AI you want to know more about could be faster and more effective that a course. If you want to make AI video the workflows are being invented by people who have no idea how this tech works, and find a way to make it work for them.

The R/GA impossible ad with Moncler was 1/2 improvisation with experimental tech. They made some serious production workflows to get consistent characters in the video but if you are an ECD you know the devil is in the details of rework.

Potential client owns an e-commerce website selling graphic design posters (think college type posters) submitted by a freelance artists. Most of sales are from posters based off of celebrity musicians. Does client need a license from the celebrities to sell graphic posters of the celebrities even though it is from freelance artists?
