Make, no. Ask, yes.

If occasional overtime was in the job description, I would say yes.

If you completed your minimum hours required, they can still make you go and cover call outs when you are salary?

No option for overtime since I’m on salary.

Well there you have it. The answer is no, you cant be made to do it by the contract. If you are asked, just say no or explain the terms that you are willing to work the weekend for. You know, if you are able and want too that is.

The last time I was in this position, we were expected to come in on Saturdays if we didn't hit our quota by Friday evening. They didn't 'make' us. But it was also a seasonal job selling lawn care so it was maybe 16 possible Saturdays out of the year.

My exact question is whats approximately the salary of a CRO (control room operator) preferably for the Netherlands and Europe but everything else is just fine too.

I recently asked my boss for a raise after discussing a yearly review with them. I was told because there was a company wide raise back in December, that would technically be my raise, which was $0.45/hr. I’ve stepped in to a number of roles here and feel I am not being paid adequately after taking on the extra work. I’m wondering how to go about asking for a raise of $2/hr after all this.

I am a sales rep and have worked extremely hard to build a large book of business. Every year upper management seems to find a way to cut commissions and make my hard work, worth less. Is this common? It’s pretty draining to work harder and get paid less year over year even though you’re typically getting more business. I don’t feel valued. Do more for less? Any other great sales companies/ industries that people are happy with and compensated accordingly? Preferably uncapped commissions

How would you go about finding a remote AE role with a 100k base?

I have about 7-8 years of sales experience and have consistently out performed my OTE. I absolutely love my current role but I feel like I have out grown the company as there isn't a ton of opportunity to make more than I am currently making.

I opened up my LinkedIn to recruiters but all the offers are 60-70k base and 120-140k OTE. I am shooting for MINIMUM 80k base but ideally 100k or more.

What would you do?
