Have you ever been asked to print out an excel file?? This is a first for me, my boss wanted it though so here I am on a weekend trying to figure out how to format it for printing 😅

Oh it’s pretty easy. When hit the page set up tab and sure you have the grind lines turned on. Then select if you want your file landscape or vertical. Then hit the print icon or tab depending on the version of excel you are using and then make sure you enter the page range you want to print assuming you don’t want the whole thing then hit print. There are video tutorials available on YouTube if you are still confused.

Yeah, that can be a huge waste of ink and paper, not to mention your time. It might be good to find out exactly what they wanted to see, it's possible you could make a report that would make more sense to print than the entire file. Or, try exporting it to a pdf first, that will give you an idea of what it will look like. But trying to print out the information required and not the whole file should be the first order of business.

Once that happens my recruiter should send me the offer. Either on the day she comes back, but by the end of the week. I am going stir crazy, I really hate my current job. Help…
