How is the work culture of BDORISE usi

Is it unreasonable to ask someone from PT timezone to follow ET hours for 1 month during critical phase of the project? To be specific.. starting 9AM ET. Work day typically gets over at 6p ET or sooner sometimes, and this person makes it such a big deal and makes it sound like they are doing team a favor.

Honest thoughts of coming in as an “experienced” hire into Deloitte’s Human Capital Practice? How is the culture? What’s the workload like/WLB? How are the training opportunities? Compensation? Any insight/advice is much appreciated!

I want to hear everyone's honest opinions on unlimited PTO policies. Call me old-fashioned, but I miss having an allotted number of days we were allowed to use annually. Seems like there are no companies following that model anymore. Unlimited PTO messes with my head and for some reason I get more paranoid about what people are thinking if I do.

How can I deal with this situation where a new subordinate keeps calling BS on company values. He makes a very valid point in some cases but it’s a constant battle where he complains a lot. Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. Question here - been at a new job for a bit and have discovered that the culture is extremely misogynistic. It’s been 6 months and I have had to go to HR twice. Everyone at my agency director+ is married or in a serious relationship and I feel they perpetuate a culture that doesn’t give ppl time and space to date. I feel guilty for attempting to not be alone.
