Have you ever left a company you’ve been with for 10+ years (a company you love) just because you feel like you are over 40 and should diversify to stay competitive?

If I join the firm as an associate senior in July would I be eligible to promote to experienced senior in august?

Put in notice and one of the partners wants to know what they could do to have me stay. I doubt I will but curious if anyone has chosen to stay and why in this situation other than money. Any regrets?

Does anyone have any good (free) resources for construction detailing. I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.

I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23.
