Hello from down under

Anyone’s company looking to hire an associate PMM? I’ve been owning all product marketing efforts for a B2B SaaS startup for the past year, working to communicate product value through helpful, human messaging. I’ve created + implemented processes for the dept, and love the challenge of crafting compelling narratives for our target market through multiple channels - sales enablement, demos, product updates, case studies, & more. Particularly interested in Zendesk, Google, Asana, Slack

I moved from development into cto / management. Ended up in a consulting company and now on my own. I have found it like a transition from one part of the development process to another. If you think of development where you focus on a smaller piece, then gradually get larger pieces into architecture, etc. The process from that to sales is that you are moving further along to where what you are going to make gets defined earlier, the construct in which it exists and so on. I have personally found it pretty challenging and difficult, but ultimately it is much better potentially. You gain so much more exposure to things that are relevant across businesses and you get to talk to different people in a wide range of areas. It means you work with very different kinds of people and need to be much more people oriented, which can be a challenge and draining, depending on how you are motivated.
Thank you for the insight!
