So, is it advisable to switch an organization now amongst the news of all these mass firings?

I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. I am targeting ISB next year and by then would probably have a package of ~16-17 LPA.

Some of my reasons for going for an MBA are:

1- To have a tier-1 college brand name (engineer from tier 1-2 college)
2- Using campus placements for getting into product role
3- I know it fits nowhere in the list of a genuine reason, but really want to go back to college life
4- Lastly, getting a jump in salary

Please help me in understanding if I am in the right direction. Really appreciate any help.
