Recently I have joined a new company and today is the my first day here, before joining I had got an offer later from this company and in this offer there was a clause “Your expected date of joining is Monday, 1st June,2026 and after this date your offer will be null and void.” Now I have joined this company and from today onwards my probation period is 6 months. Should I take any other offer latter or appointment latter because this latter was valid only 1 June ?

I am new to EY. What is EY GDS promotion policy in general?
Where can we get those details to check the required and expected things to go the next level?
How many levels in Staff? What is the min YOE is required to be a Senior?
How many months/years minimum we need to spend to be eligible for promotion (ex: minimum 1 year a person need to spend on one grade like that)

I've done so well in this new role within the company that they are hiring another person to assist with what I do. I've voiced to my boss that I'd like to manage this department and they indicated that this is the thought for the future. Now they are asking me to train this person while I have my plate full. Is it wrong for me to expect either a promotion or to be paid to train this person?
