When I received an offer from Grant thornton indus, there is an pending FIR aganist me [194 (2) BNS - public nuisance]. And my case got disposed with fine [no jail] after 10 days giving information to HR. I submitted FIR Disposed status, Police Clearance Certificate, affidavit, fine receipt paid to court.

HR forwarded all documents to legal team. However, there is no response for 9 days.

Can I resign at my present company? Will there be any problem with GT further?

The mid-size firm I’m currently at has been very flexible during covid but I’m looking to change firm (biglaw). Since my family is abroad I find it extremely valuable to be able to do this (I did this even before covid for a couple of weeks, twice a year). Hello my fellow shoal of fish. I am seeking recommendations for a lounge chair in my office. I currently have the adjustable stand desk and a relatively comfortable office chair (not when reclining) but the other half of my office is empty. Im putting in a 55” tv and need a recliner, lounge chair, or something of the sorts to put in front of the tv. Something where i can put my feet up. I am about to receive an offer from EY GDS for a role of a Business Analyst_Banking finance (Principal Consultant) with a CTC of 27 LPA (inclusive of 10% variable).

I am having 10.5 YOE. Is this grade relevant which they have offered, taking my YoE into account? How much i can negotiate upto in CTC front? I mean the highest slab of Principal consultant?

I have got Pre hire survey 10 days back from D (requesting for payslip upload and CTC sheet upload) but I haven't heard back anything after that from them. I have a joining into accenture in next 10 days.

Am I being still considered by D (if not I will atleast join acc) , if so how long it will it take from Pre hire survey to offer release usually in D (for consultant position ) ??
