Often. Its been really rough these past couple years. Hang in there my friend.
Sometimes you just need to tell them you are burned out and need to take 2-4 weeks off. If they are a good company they will know the work you do and accommodate you, and perhaps respect you more for taking care of yourself to be more productive for your clients.
Yeah, don’t know who to reach out on that.
My company contracts with other companies, so I’m employed under Everise, but they have me in the insurance Line of Business through Centene, which falls under heading of WellCare.
They have a policy that doesn’t allow PTO on Mondays at all, and requesting PTO can be a major crapshoot.
When I try to find information, I feel that I get blown off and sent to another party, then that party sends me somewhere else, and then it snowballs to a dead end.
I’ve expressed how unhappy I feel, burned out, and just generally mentally drained to my supervisor, he had “been trying to find answers for me” and to also look for my “career advancement” while I try to as well. I don’t feel that I get the additional assistance to fall into something that I would enjoy, I apply for other positions to get a response that I’m not experienced enough and that I don’t qualify. Everything that has built up here has frustrated me to the extremes that I don’t know which end is up.
I moved form one company to wither that took over a got a new contract. And I tell ya, it’s night and day difference. After 7 months I realized it’s time to move on. When you work the same account for 5 years and the new pace has 0 about the account and they don’t appreciate or want to consider my ideas. 7 months I was getting burned out and frustrated. I left for higher salary and bonus. Better benefits!
