I applied with EY for a Senior Manager role I had my first stage interview with a senior manager, which I thought went well as I got the partner interview 2 weeks later, and said I'll be contact within 10 day HR. This did not happen so I chased up. Today I received feedback from HR stating that the senior manager, who would have been my peer, said I didn't have enough experience. But the partner who I would have been working under did like me.
Is this normal with EY recruitment
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Hi Fellow fishes, I had an hr discussion with amdocs and during salary negotiation they told we can't give more than 11 lpa, they told it's the last offer and didn't negotiate at all. My current CTC is 7 lpa and YOE: 3 years. How can I renegotiate with them. Will they not process my offer letter if I ask them to reconsider? P.S. : I really want to join amdocs. Amdocs

One page. Everyone hates 2 page CVs.

The new rule is 1 page. Most of what I’ve been told by recruiters is that if it’s longer than 1 page, they immediately throw it out.

New rule? I’ve been told 1 page since 10 years ago. That is also my entire career.
One page. I have over 10 years of work experience across two careers and I’ve still managed to keep mine to one page.

Hit the abridged. List the most relevant things for the jobs. If you need to cut experience that isn’t relevant and is too far out years wise than do what you have to.

It’s always nice to have one page.

So I was always an advocate for 1 page and mostly still am. That being said I hired a resume writing service a few years ago and was surprised they returned a 2 page resume (~10yoe). Reluctantly shopped the resume around and got interviews with McK, BCG, and several industry leadership positions. But I also went through referrals and not cold, so that probably helped to.

1 page for the most part. If you’re trying to apply within the public sector, they love receiving novels of your life as a resume. Other than that, I’m a proponent of the 1 page as that’s what I’ve experienced everywhere else
