Yesterday I raised compensation concerns for my salary and had discussion today with HR for salary revision as the provided salary package in offer letter does not match my expectations. So the HR has quoted my expectated salary package and will send to Management for approval. I want to know when I can get the revised offer letter and also what are the chances that Management will approve this expected package ?

I have recently received an offer from HSBC for Data Engineer profile. The designation offered is Senior Analyst- Information Management. They said that it is a techno functional role. Does anyone have an idea about what techno functional role actually is in HSBC? Is it more like a Business Analyst? My prior experience is completely in Technical side. Will this role be suitable for me?
