Now few weeks ago I got the mail from recruiter that hiring freeze is done and my profile is under consideration only and now no one is responding to my mails.

May I know when the hiring unfreeze happen.

Why is it this hard to get a job??? Like the ghosting is insane. I’ve had several interviews with fortune 100 companies and they all end up ghosting me… Anyone have any advice?

Really looking for some feedback here. Our first home we bought at 275k, currently could sell for 450k. Lived in the home for two years, so if we sold we would exclude any gain. So let’s say after fees, we’re looking at 200k of cash flow to us. We buy another home for 500k, 20% down or so = 100k. Then let’s say we want to get an investment property for 400k, at 20% down = 80k. Now we have a residence with 20% down so no PMI and an investment property. Or we keep our current home (cont...)

Why Interviewer want to insult candidate rather respect them ? Why 99% interviewer ask candidate about Pluto. I mean ask something which has no relation with application, project. Why this mind set ?? Why thr is a ego fight. If I know everything why I will join your company. We are not Architect !! Only those 6 companies have Interview pattern. Else everywhere it depends on interviewer, selection depends on thr mindset.

What happens if a teacher you work with looses their home to a disaster like a fire or earthquake?

Why does it take so much time to approve exit for employees serving notice period. During this period the employees are pressurized and treated really bad. Is this very common in KPMG. Cause in the other big 4 or any other organisation this does not happen. KGSEmployees are afraid that they will not get the approval for the requested exit date. What sorts of SQL questions are typically asked in interview questions for senior data analysis jobs? Like is knowing SQL from freecodecamp enough or should I look into taking a course online?

I’ve unfortunately not gotten the chance to use SQL in my current position so I don’t feel like I have enough experience in it, but have experience in everything else (Python, tableau, storytelling, etc)

I have worked with Forbes top companies, for-profits, non-profits, & startups. I consider myself a solver of complex & complicated problems requiring mixed method research & novel solutions. This has led to issues in self-referencing title. I’ve been project manager, data engineer, developer, modeler, analysts, principle DB developer, etc. Most of my w2 work has been from offers of 1099 clients so I am usually asked to define my own title. Any T-shaped data people who run into this?

What is the market like for entry level data scientists/ data analyst. I have a graduate certificate in data science and have spent the last 27 years as a mainframe dev so I have great SQL skills.

So I got hired to build out the data function of my company. But I’ve noticed that there are certain leadership members that don’t seem to respect my function nor think data is that important. Has anybody faced this problem? Any advice?

I’ve been a data analyst for a little over a year for my current employer. I manage databases, input new information, solve issues utilizing root-cause analysis, and I maintain reports on a daily basis. The only thing I don’t do is work with coding such a SQL. I’m currently enrolled in Coursera Google Data Analytics Certification to learn more about SQL.
I want to get a job in data analytics that uses SQL. How do I show that I know SQL without having direct SQL related work experience?

I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. I know it will initially be a step back in comp but is it at all realistic for a person with certificate level experience in data analysis but a decent marketing management background to expect $150-200k comp or is that mostly for degreed candidates (or not realistic at all)?
