I’m looking for some advice on “commission only” salespeople. This is for a startup with a great foundation. It has good branding and a great website. All it needs now is hungry sales professionals with experience to build this startup into something big! Does anyone have a medical marijuana card? I know my company doesn’t drug test, but I‘ve just always been nervous to get one because of work. If you work at EY or at one of the other big 4, do you have your med card? And if so, have you run into any trouble w work for having it?

Hi all! I need some anonymous advice. I’ve been with my org for over 3 years and love the work that I do (Sr HRBP). I’ve been a Sr HRBP (different titles ranging from HRBP to director in my career over the last 10+ years). Essentially I’ve always worked in this capacity. There’s an opportunity for me to take a lateral move into a Globe HR Operations position focusing on company wide systems, employee experience and HR enablement.

Everyone says that getting a Master's in cyber isn't worth the time/money. Certs are better. But surely an MS in cyber could benefit in some way. In what career path would a degree like this help?

Need some FIRE advice please. I am currently 25 M, with 125k in savings across my 401k/ESPP/Personal Brokerage Acct. etc. I have no debt. Base salary of 125k with up to 25% bonus.

I contribute 20% to my pre tax (employer matches up to 6%) and 5% in my Roth 401k and 10% in my ESPP. I keep only what I need in my checking to pay rent and have some fun on the weekends, but all relative would you say that I am allocating my funds correctly. Huge believer in value investing and compound interest.

Co-Working Space Agreements - team is thinking about using some co-working space in a new market (similar to we work and Regus). Got the agreement today and it isn’t really a license, more like completely one sided terms and conditions not in our favor. No indemnification, insurance, etc. no guaranty of security or that no one else can access our private office (We aren’t looking for just a desk, but a private office suite). Has anyone had luck negotiating the terms of these agreements?

Has anyone else had a mentor (assigned to them by the Company) who seemed to have it out for you? I mean downright sabotage to make you look bad left and right. I didn’t realize it at first. She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.
