My friend got offer, after accepting the offer, ( joining date june mid) she came to know that she is pregnant (1 month), and resigned from her current company.Whether she will be eligible to join state street and avail maternity leave? And how about job security after sh return from maternity?

I get it, shit doesn't always run smoothly, but every live deal I've been on hasn't panned out at the last possible minute. I am tired. Just venting.

My firm has applied for my L1A visa. If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc).
