A big surprise challenge in wfh has been my spouse seeing me around the house and expecting me to help out with daily chores and helping with kids then getting frustrated when I’m not able to get up and help. Our whole marriage, when I’ve been home that means I’m not working and can help her out with things, but now that rhythm has changed and it’s hard. Anyone else going through this? Hoping we’re not the only ones 🤞🤞😬
Have you done any PBL projects with students during remote learning? If so, how did they go?
How do y’all stay motivated during this time? (Still full time WFH, usually a high performer but I’m exhausted) 🆘
Remote week this week. Fiancé thinks I have to travel but will surprise him by being home when he's done work! It's the little things.
Got asked by my manager what would be the best practice for track & trace instead of scheduling hangout meetings over & over since everyone is in WFH mode. Do you have first-hand experience to share?
Another Job opportunity! Sr Rev Accountant - SaaS 3+ yrs exp. - CPA candidate - ASC 606 $65-82k Remote - per JD - HQ in Colorado
FAANG offer: What are peoples experiences & thoughts on requesting remote every Fri? It was healthy for me having this in consulting, Seeing if I can ‘secure’ this before accepting a StratOps offer...
Really afraid that MBAs will go back to remote and that I will waste the opportunity to get the time of my life
I recently left a pretty good summer internship to take a full time job and I regret it. I have been losing sleep over it all summer. And after remote work ends, the job would be in a high cost of living city as well. Due to this, I am looking at switching jobs again. I feel terrible about starting my career as a job hopper. Despite getting interviews at good companies, nothing is making me feel better about this situation. I don’t know how to handle the thoughts racing in my mind.
McK recent starts…two questions: 1.) How long is training? 2.) Are teams going on-site or still mostly remote? Thank you!
Not sure how much longer I can stay cooped up in my house. Been one of the people abiding by social distancing / quarantine, and with the spike (due to more testing, people not social distancing, whatever) its scary to think that we could still be doing this next year. Anybody else in the same boat? How are you dealing with the repetitiveness of WFH?
Any remote doc review positions out there for a JD (not admitted)? Helping out a friend who has exhausted the online search.
Why aren't policies like one-remote-week-per-month more common? Wouldn't that drastically reduce burn out?
Since wfh started in March this is longest I’ve gone without getting sick. Not a sore throat, no phlegm, no sniffles, nothing! Before I would get a mild sickness every other month or so. Yay for less people mingling! 🙌
Is anyone else's eyes starting to go bad? WFH - related? I had 20/20 vision and I'm 27... but started to notice my right eye isn't as clear anymore.
Can’t deal with this anymore. Everyone assumes you are available round the clock due to work from home
I have no idea how to get motivated again. I am a legit zombie that sits and types for hours and hours without talking to anyone. I feel like a shell of a person. And nobody in management cares about any associates well being in this remote environment. I’m a person who likes to talk about things, but I am well aware that nobody in management would even want to actually do anything to help. Is anyone else feeling the same?
Had my first miscarriage late last year. 8 weeks pregnant now and saw baby on sono the other day however, at times I don’t “feel” pregnant. Like my boobs don’t feel sore and don’t have intense food cravings. Maybe it’s all in my head but how do I stop from worrying about a 2nd miscarriage? ☹️ My next appt is in 4 wks and I wish time sped up so I could feel more in the clear.
Can't tell if everyone is on the bench, or everyone is on a project. Office suddenly very crowded. 🤔
What to do when a prospective client asks for a week-by-week breakdown of activities in your proposal? Activities are clearly indicated per phase already...
An ex who I miss dearly is getting married next week. It’s been years, I’ve moved countries, dated other people, tried multiple therapists, focused on career, you name it. Feeling hopeless that I’ll never get over him or find love again, especially with Covid. Hoping you ladies can help with some encouraging stories that shows anything can happen and help me stay optimistic. TYIA!
Best company/role/function if I only want to work 20-25 hours a week? Life should be lived and I work too much. Want to cut back and reorder my priorities.
Any male Asians , feel that they have been passed up for a role because they are Asian ? Feels like the Asian man dating effect spills over into corporate culture . Or am I alone n over thinking it?

I recently got a verbal offer from a BB bank for an IB analyst position in London. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard back regarding a written offer, is this normal for IB? They also said they need final confirmation from HR, should I be worried?
After your first job, how relevant is GPA. For context, I went to a school that is very well known for grade deflation (Deloitte had a “suggested” minimum of 3.2 here) and I studied statistics, a particularly rough major at the school. Long story short, GPA was between a 2.9 and 3.0. This wasn’t due to slacking and I’ve done well at Deloitte so far with plenty of experience to speak to. Would my GPA still block me from certain firms, like any of the MBB firms or a Tier 2 consulting firm?
Has Covid offered an opportunity to work remote from a different country? European Jr/Mid Copywriter who would love to work remote for an American agency.
Ex-Consulant here that now works for a big name Real Estate Investment Trust. Saw on LinkedIn that EY has an America’s REIT Leader. Didn’t know that much attention was paid to the REIT space. Are there really consulting teams dedicated to the REIT space in the Big 4? Love working for a REIT and would love to jump back to consulting if there were teams dedicated to the industry.
