What type of industry roles would a consultant “generalist” be suited for? I have a lot of experience in tech (MarTech, Data, System Design… no coding experience though), marketing and customer strategy, analytics, product management, process and op model… but I don’t have any speciality or niche. I’m getting bored with consulting. Does anyone have any thoughts on what type of roles would be aligned to a person like me? I have about 15 years of experience in tech with 2 years as head of product in a startup. I'm trying to find a new leadership role which is proving to be very difficult. My applications seem to get rejected because I don't meet the "minimum X number of years in product" requirement. I feel confident about leading a product team and believe that I have a unique blend of skills which can be applied effectively to build successful products. Any suggestions on how I could land more interviews?
