I’m in IT Consulting and planning a long-term investment — ideally for rental income now and resale in the future. I’m torn between buying a flat in Pune or investing in a plot in my hometown. Is Pune still a smart choice for returns? If so, which builders are trustworthy and offer good appreciation?
Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.

I work through a contractor, and was hired 2yrs ago to be a Systems Test Engineer II. They decided last minute to make me a Software Content Manager, but kept my title as is since it was supposed to be a 6mo rotation. I’m still an SCM, and am taking on leadership roles in the group. How do I ask for a title change and pay increase to reflect what I actually do? Do I ask my contract house, or my NASA mgmt? Should I ask to make the pay retroactive since I was hired to do one thing, but do another?

I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also .
