Hey Everyone... Have always heard of long working hours, toxic environment in IT world.. but have never imagined about the situation to be this much worse .. everyday working like 15/16 hrs minimum... sometimes its beyond that too.. no weekend, no holiday .. working everyday.. what kind of thing is it? aren't managers are named so, so that they manage and plan the things properly without blaming the team!!!

Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with. The work seems like it’s not a good fit for me but it feels crazy to pass up trying to get that amount of money when there really isn’t a realistic alternative to that amount of wealth (and I do want that amount of wealth).

Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?

I’m 18 yrs of exp, working at Ford in a cloud architect role with a salary of 31lpa (26 fixed + 5 variable). I’m getting offer from Bank of America with fixed ctc of 41lpa for avp designation. I will lose the variable pay from Ford if join bofa in next 60 days. Pl advice if this a good offer considering market situation or should I negotiate @bankofamerica
