Thoughts on PJT strategic advisory?
Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient
What is the hiring process of persistent systems? I am done with one technical round and got an email with subject line as 'feedback' but in mail it is written that they will get in touch with me. What does that mean? Will there be more technical round or managerial round?

It’s not rocket science. Figure out the time that you want based on your criteria. Or talk to the recruiter and ask based on their experience what is a good timeframe. Asking in FB without given all the context is not smart.
All three. I’ve used all 3 in a single setting. If they want you, they will wait. If not, then it’s not the right company for you.
I think it really depends. In one case, I had to relocate so I was able to negotiate 1-2 months. In another case, I wanted to start in the new year since things tend to be slow from Oct-Dec—was able to ask to start 2.5 months after getting my offer.
Could also turn the question back to them and see if they had a timeline in mind already. They may be filling an open position and want ASAP, or there may be some flexibility.

After new year makes sense to me. Roughly 4 weeks?

I have a contract so three months after I pass the background check and give notice.
Without a contract one month after I pass the background check and give notice.
I've heard of people getting burned on there background check due to identity fraud from our own internal recruiters and I've had my identity stolen so I'm kinda cautious.

Nothing crazy on my side. SIM swap. Password reset. And $25K stolen from my bank account that the bank managed to recover. I assume my email was dumped somewhere.
From recruiters I've heard of people finding out that they have criminal records as a result of background checks and it takes time to clean up. In the meantime the company moves on to a new candidate.
Long story short I have mouths to feed so I'm risk averse when it comes to switching jobs and just make sure everything is squared away before providing notice.
I usually say I’m flexible and just want to make sure I find a role that’s the best fit for me
