When a recruiter asks you, in the middle of a screening, how long it would take you to start before being given an offer, what's a reasonable timeframe?
I want time to 1) get and compare with other ops, 2) time to give notice to my team, and 3) a bit of vacation time in between jobs. But I don't want to be ridiculous.

Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.
