Hey everyone,

I have been with Ford since 3 years (6months as Intern). I earn 11LPA as CTC now. Recently, I got a feeling like I'm undercompenssated for the work I'm doing. I'm SG5 and I contribute to the AI Usecase. Not sure asking a promotion is a fair ask with 2 and a half full time experience. On the other hand I feel I'm working for more than what I'm being paid. Can someone suggest how to discuss this my manager?

Ask for SG6 with proper substantial data and numbers.... if not given, then switch job.. this is the correct experience to make first switch.. U can easily get 20 lpa .. Promotion will grant u nearly 18% hike..

3 yoe and 11 lpa i don't see it as underpaid, while promotion is possible and can go up to 16 with promotion.., or you can switch too provided early stage of career..

It's good to feel that we deliver more than what's being paid for 😃

Oh yes.. that's a very rare case by the way.. At least, in my dept, LL5/LL4s go defensive if beyond 30% is proposed.. I lost a few candidates that way as I could not retain them..

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

What’s the base for CL8 (CDO)? Glassdoor doesn’t seem accurate, as it pegs CL8 at 56k. Currently a CL9, on 52.5 in London. Promoted from CL10 last year too, so still a fairly new CL9.

Is it illegal to tell someone to get out of your car if your in a national park at night? What if the person made you feel unsafe and you wanted them out of your car, even though the location was a bit dangerous (ex Yellowstone, Smoky Mountains)?
