Hey guys, I had a few questions and would really appreciate answers from people who have worked at Citi for at least a few months.

1. What time do you start and end work? Do you only work for the 8 hours or more than that?
2. Do we apply for overtime any time we work extra? Or does that not exist here?
3. Do you guys have to work weekends any time?
4. How many days before do you request for leaves?

Although all the answers would vary from team to team but will try to answer in general.
1. No fixed time as such is followed across Citi. However have a good overlapping with your teammates across the globe.
2. No extra pay 💰 as such for overtime in Citi, but you can apply for compensatory leaves if you work during weekends. Again totally depends on your manager.
3. Sometimes , during prod releases, incidents or chasing deadlines.
4. Again no fixed timelines are followed but it’s a professional atiquet thing to inform your manager at least 3 weeks in advance.
