Hey! I’m planning to take an Orff Level 1 course this summer. Any tips, tricks, or advice as I prepare? Also, what other trainings would you recommend for elementary general music teachers? Thanks in advance!

You're going to LOVE IT!!! Keep an open mind and write everything down or record it on your phone. It's all useful!

I also hear the kodaly levels are great, but personally, I'd go for something music tech related if you can find it.

Be sure you’re in shape before you go! It’s usually quite a workout, in a fun way. I took my levels at Sanford U in Birmingham, and it was the best decision ever!!!

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox. I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

Also an indicative range of CTC I should ask for will be helpful. Currently I'm underpaid at 20.1L as I worked in the same company for 12 years.

How is everyone finishing the semester? We are watching and discussing the Nutcracker, creating music note books, and finishing a semester-long Latin American music unit.

I have a hand full of k-5 students who have gone the first half of the school year without music because of remote learning. Our district is moving to 100% traditional teaching after the MLK holiday. Any suggestions for reintroducing concepts to the group of students that’ll be joining us f2f for music the first time this school year?

Ok. I am teaching music in person and when we have a case of COVID in the school, I push into the classroom for 10 days. Are there music websites that are free that I can go to for quick lessons when I’m asked to teach in the classroom. I was told today with 5 minutes to prepare that we had a case, I couldn’t teach in my room and I couldn’t do the ukulele unit I had planned. I had to think on the fly and quickly came up with a BrainPop for them. I’d like to find a few more music sites.
