everything boils down to your last drawn CTC or the offer you’re holding in hand.
The market doesn’t work like a charity lottery where you jump from 10 LPA straight to 20 LPA just because Glassdoor said so.
If your last CTC is 10 LPA and your shiny new offer is 13 LPA, the best you can realistically stretch to is 15–16 LPA — not a rocket launch to 20.
This is corporate gravity. No catapults, only increments.
