Cleared technical interview, HR said they are proceeding ahead with my role as I cleared the interview. After a week HR asked my salary details, expectation and notice period which was already discussed before scheduling the tech interview. Few days back HR told me will discuss with my manager and come back quickly on the package. But no update so far. How long usually it will take for this process?

Has anyone transitioned from being client facing to fully remote software sales? If so, what were the major differences in day to day? I'm currently on site with customers 3 days a week focused around hardware sales but have an interesting opportunity for fully remote software at a higher pay.

I got variable pay of 1 lack, two times after April's appraisal (so total 2 lack). I didn't had variable component mentioned in offer letter, but it was showing up in hr portal. Now payroll people are calling me and asking me to return the 1 lack saying it was done by mistake. What should I do?
