I ask them on a scale of 1-10 how likely they are to get the vaccine (any not just COVID) 10 being absolutely 1 being under no circumstance. I leave the 1’s alone. If someone says 3 I ask why wouldn’t you put yourself at a 2 or a 1? Let the conversation go from there. Present facts and emphasize it’s your choice just want to know what your thought is. It’s worked more than I thought it would. It takes some time but helps you suss out skeptics or hesitant from lost causes.
I ignore them. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. No point on overexerting yourself when their minds are already made up.
I've been ignoring it. I don't feel like I can convince them otherwise so I just let them say their peace and move on. Nothing I can do.
I think you have to present them with data / research backed facts and evidence - what they chose to do with that information is up to them.
All you can do is provide your advice. It's ultimately their choice as to what they believe and how they decide to proceed.
Your not going to change their mind, so I'd just let it go.
Professionally, I ask if there is any evidence they’d accept and change their minds. So far, they all say no and so I don’t waste my time beyond a 1 page pre-printed flyer with vaccine basic info. If they ever do say yes, I will discuss it with them at length and answer any questions. In my private life, I call them plague rats and mock them. I have lost friends (nurses) to this pandemic who died because of directly caring for others who were infected. I have no pity for those who willfully spread this disease around.
