I recently discovered through Glassdoor and peers in the industry that my salary is at least $10K below the average for similar roles. I raised this with my manager, but was told salary reviews are performance-based and only done annually. HR says it’s up to the manager.

I feel stuck and unsure how to approach this professionally to request a fair adjustment. Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sometimes the leadership does not even inform you on the status of a submitted proposal unless we win the work. I get why they are doing it but it would be great if there was an external source/website that would share this info instead of us waiting around to hear from them.

I’ve had a really tense, emotionally exhausting week. Things wrapped up yesterday and now my body feels so strung out and exhausted.
