Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

I have an offer from Mercer to join as module lead with 12.5 fix CTC and annual incentive plan which is not clearly mentioned in offer letter. My joining date is 31st October so as per company policy anyone joining after 1st oct won't be eligible for appraisal cycle nor for annual incentive plan..which makes my package 12.5 lacs for next one and a half year.
Not sure if it would be a wise decision, current CTC is 9.08 lacs Mercer

I moved here with EY 6 months ago and you can comfortable afford 3-5 km to the CBD. Surry Hills, pyrmont, Darlinghurst are all great. Feel free to private message me.
PwC has published its salaries in Australia. You should expect about 140k base which is comfortable for a semi-decent apartment 10-15 kms outside the CBD.

Great thank you
you can easily afford a 1-2 bedroom within 10-15km from the city, would recommend the inner west
you could afford to live within 10-15km from the city, one such place would be the inner west
Given the state and (surprisingly not cheap) cost of public transport you may even consider an apartment walking distance to Barangaroo either in the CBD or Ultimo/Pyrmont.
