I am a Data Scientist with 2 YOE. I have got a job offer from a company where they want me to join in 2 months.However,my notice period is 3 months. Now the problem is my manager is unwilling to release me early.What happens if I accept the new job offer and my manager refuses to shorten my notice period or agree for a buyout?What is the worst case scenario and how should I deal with this problem?

My question is how many days does it takes to release offer letter ?
Is the salary offered good or should I try for more negotiation ?
