What do you want out of your accounting career? Obviously money is a huge motivator, but is there anything else you want accomplish, build, complete?

33 year old with MBA thinking about a career change from financial services consultant to certified financial planner. Any advice?

I need some advice. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration with 20 plus years working in different Healthcare roles. I am working as a PBM Claim Specialist. What other positions can I apply for that is fully remote and better pay? Side note I am thinking of applying to nursing school sometime later down the line. Any advice will be greatly appreciated .

Has anyone made the switch to OD/HC from recruiting? Have been considering making the switch, but would like to hear about other people’s experiences, pros/cons, etc.

Hello, can anyone advise which Becker CPA program is better? Advantage (flash cards) or Unlimited (final review)?

How's the job market lately? I'm considering quitting, moving there, then starting my search. Do you think it'd take more than a few months (say, 6 max) to land a good role?

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone in FDD is in for the long long haul? I remember in audit everyone would talk about quitting or how they're only going to do audit for a few years to get experience and then leave. I'm not really seeing the same in TS. Just my observation.

I have a great opportunity to really advance professionally and financially, but if I’m being honest, I don’t want it right now. What I’m doing works for my life right now and I enjoy where I’m at. But I also feel like I’d be nuts to pass up such a great opportunity.

Hi - I’ve moved to Toronto (from Asia) with 5 YOE in Corporate banking + 2 YOE IB/capital markets (7 YOE in TOTAL) working roles in Front Office and financial analysis.

Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?
