1. Exit opps — how does coming from a sub-12-person boutique translate? Does the firm’s reputation/deal quality matter more than the brand name at this stage?
2. Risk — how do you think about the downside of joining a firm this early-stage? Worried about stability

I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23. I’ve had several great interviews with a few diff companies. Or rather, I thought they went well but then I get the dreaded “thanks but we made the difficult decision to move forward with other candidates”. I’ve asked for feedback but so far have gotten none.

I know it’s competitive out there, but I also don’t know how I can either position myself better, seek positions that are more aligned with my expertise/experience, or work on improving certain areas.

Interesting all the noise about these PPT, my take:

The pandemic took all the upside of an IB analyst life (client meetings in person, fancy trips, suit up, worshiped at networking events) and left all the juniors with the downside (long hours, monkey-like type of job, aggressive work environment).

Not that the complaints are not sort of legitimate but you may need to revise the decision-making process that led you to accept a return offer. Specially if you were looking for less hours.
