I interviewed for a Data Engineer 3 position at Walmart and completed two technical rounds, a system design round, and a hiring manager round. After the final round, HR informed me that the hiring manager provided mixed feedback and asked me to wait 1–2 weeks while they assess other candidates.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What was the outcome? Did they eventually move forward with your application, or was it a rejection?
