I am an Senior iOS developer. YOE is 8.5. Currently getting 13 LPA. Getting promotion in a month with 25 to 30 percent hike which comes nearly 16.8 LPA. I cannot able to relocate now due to family dependency reasons. I heard iOS developer salary market is good. I am having a very good work life balance in the current company. I am in a confusion. I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ? Or could it because my CTC is too high ?

Have a fundamental question: why would an AD give a discount on a brand new Rolex? Is it similar to car dealers giving discounts on inventory on the lot? Or the discounts only apply to pre-owned? And if an AD does give a discount on brand new, what range should I be looking at?

Has market correction happened for L7s? What is the avg fixed component for L7 and L8 after market correction.
