Don’t let your in-laws drive. They were so frustrated they couldn’t find a spot to park (after failing to listen to where I was directing them) we gave up after 2 hours of wall to wall traffic
@KPMG, I didn't know it, but I went the night they had a hockey game, NC State Football game along with fair traffic. After that, NC state and Carolina Hurricanes decided no more home games during fair time.
Even better an elk or rattlesnake sausage corn dog. 😁
It’s a cultural experience. I won’t go because the way animals are treated in the context of fair exhibitions is something I can’t look past (and I am not a big crowd person), BUT lots of people love it. 🤷🏻♀️
The animals look so miserable. If you can dodge people may be worth seeing once. That’s enough
Mask up and stay safe
not trying to convince to go back. I was just curious.
The last day is Sunday. I believe it is worth it to go. visit ncstatefair.org/2022/index.htm. it has a lot of good information there. I have gone to the fair at least once a year since 1996, sometimes 2 to 3 times a year. I go for the food. Not the rides.
I had a good time. Can't go wrong with a foot long corn dog lol.
