Now that we have work all year long and lack of an off season, isn’t it a good argument to work just 40 hours a week all year long? Of course there will be some 45s, but I feel it can all be managed if leaders are willing to turn away work and still make a good living. I just don’t see the tax profession improving at its current state, am I just being pessimistic? I know the demand will be there but to continue to work 55+ hours doesn’t sound like something I want to continue as I get older.

Vent post: Have a mentally ill family member who is not committed to getting the help they need (e.g., through therapy or medication). Been this way for years with no change or end in sight.
