Hi fishes,
I have around 14 years of experience. Though I have a lead role ..I still a developer here. ..is there any harm in being a developer with such long years of experience. I am a bit anxious. . I see that companies are recruiting mostly between 4 to 9 years of experience..will they consider someone with my experience for a developer role. Very much tensed and worried that if I get obsolete.
Please throw some light..

There's no harm in this, you're considered as most talented developer. Many companies look up for such talent who has actually done lots of coding and only they can deliver better results.

My boss has video on every single meeting. Status? On. IR? On. Not presenting and just there to chill? On. Even when no one else has it on and knowing it’ll just be his face taking up the whole screen. I’m starting to think he just likes to think we all love staring at him.

Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). I find this aspect of PA stressful and exhausting but not sure if this is something you just get used to. Currently a manager and seems like the metrics just change over time / don’t get easier.

What was your experience with the LSAT? Do you think it's gatekeeping, preventing students who can't afford it (often people of color) from entering the field? OR is it helping future attorney's of color by giving them a chance to go to a top school regardless of grades? I've seen questions about the LSAT all day and just want to know how people feel.
