I need to identify an educational problem relevant to my educational setting (ECE-8th music at an urban public school) and analyze existing data that is relevant to the problem in order to draw conclusions. I’m finding great research papers, but not a lot of data I can analyze. TIA

I am resigning from my position. I don’t have a job secured yet, but I have a couple interviews lined up. I’m wondering if I should tell my admin tomorrow (before going on break) or wait until I have a job secured.
FYI: I found one document saying I need to give a 30 day notice and the employee handbook says 2 weeks to be in “good standing”.
Any advice would be helpful.

For those with, or working on, Masters degrees, what major did you pick? I’m on my second semester of Music Ed, which is what my undergrad is in. Did you do music for both or something different?

So I’m planning on leaving my position before school starts, but the application and interview process has been slow. At this point I’m afraid I won’t find a job until late July. Should I let my school now and let them post my job as an anticipated position? I’d hate for them to have to find someone last minute, but I also want to keep that school as a fall back just in case. Unfortunately, it’s a terrible position and there has not been a lot of interest in it in the past.

I’m a certified PE health teacher and we have recently moved to a small town in Nebraska. They have asked me to be a full time sub in 6-12 choir and band (only opening and they can’t find a Music teacher) I know nothing about band or choir. Anyone who knows you will be returning F2F: have your administratirs said what band/chorus classes can or cannot do when you return? I was told today at my school, there will be NO singing or playing instruments INSIDE of the building, and we're supposed to come up with ways to make that work.

So I got moved to the art room. The art teacher gave me permission to use her supplies since a he isn't teaching art. So today I used some of the supplies. Next thing I know I get an email from her with the principal and vice principal chewing me out about using her stuff. Even though she said it was OK. I plan on replacing what I used, which was just a few beads to make Ganzas. How do you respond?

His particular talent is beating around the bush for hours without ever quite revealing what he wants you to do.
I have no idea how his students deal with it.
