No one should be making fun or discriminating against you for your disability it's illegal and your supervisor should be reminded that they don't want to be the one to cause a civil rights case against the company they are representing.
U have options notify your supervisor s supervisor or contact the eeoc and file a complaint or file a civil lawsuit or u just ignore it and search for new job chances are even though it is illegal you will get let go if you complain to loudly
Get solid proof, then Sue the company
Get out of there! You deserve to work where you feel safe and respected. Protect yourself from people like that.
I’m sorry to hear about this, not anything anybody should have to tolerate. I know how tricky these situations can feel trying to advocate for yourself is even harder. I hope things get better, don’t be afraid to reach out for legal assistance either.
Do you think the corporate should be told, or watch them closely more?
Document everything then file a compliant to employment oportuntiy office and hr. Then keep a close on them
No, that is not right at all to be mistreated while management sit around and do nothing. I had a co-worker, who had special needs and some of the other co-workers, would pick on him, because he would out work them. He was very sweet and it seemed that nothing was done on his behalf. The company ended up letting him go. This young man was very kind and we would try to help him as much as we could.
