This is final after negotiations.

I recently interviewed for a health research analyst position Ina consulting firm. I found some of the questions objectionable. What threw me off was the interviewer asked me and I will quote them " with your current generation, work life balance is a huge deal. What do you think are the benefits of working?" They also told me they do "overtime".
Is it just me who thinks this was another way of saying we want you to work more than required?

Does getting a referral for salesforce help? Looking at a remote account executive position. I have seven years of experience with salesforce as a user and helping departments implement it correctly and also a lot of sales experience

How is the Role of Technology Solution Planner - Associate Manager (Level 8) in Accenture Accenture India.

Tech - SAP SD (9 Years Exp)
Overall Exp - 12 Years.

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

A1 here wanting to switch from audit and go into industry... maybe a staff accountant position. Would love any insight on the big differences. Are hours/wlb any better?

I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?
