I’m currently an associate (no kids) in a very busy corp group (think 50-60 billable weekly). My wife works significantly less (currently part time, 10-15, but hopefully will be full time soon). My wife worked in a pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as a QA Officer. Due to maternity complication she took approx. 2 years gap for her career. Meanwhile she learned few courses like PV, CDM, Clinical Research.
Here my question, now she want to start her career again with her new skills in CDM, PV.
1. Which one will have growth CDM or PV?
2. Does they consider earlier experience because she had a gap.?

Do you get the feeling that there is a higher image promotion of women/minority people in Tech?I have seen way to many pictures from major tech companies that promote far more women/minorities than white males in their marketing materials.Wouldn't be better if we hired the best people no matter what the race/gender is?I know some companies are not publishing any gender/race stats but you cant't really demand a 50/50 ratio.Also there is no coincidence that most execs is some companies are British. So this goes both ways.

Hello Fishes, is 15 LPA a reasonable compensation for Machine learning engineer (python, c++, computer vision and deep learning ) with 2 years of experience, current working for a product based company. If not what is the current industry standard. I keep seeing people posting 30+ LPA for data science roles with 3+ yoe.

I'm a recent grad who accepted an entry-level full-time job offer with Capital One. I knew that MBB and other consulting firms rarely ever negotiate salary with new grads, so I didn't with Capital One as well. Was that a mistake? What were the likelihoods that they would have raised my salary? I had no other competing offers at the time
