For SaaS and other software subscription service groups. Is it normal to build in an annual increase in the subscription cost? Company I joined recently added to the contracts that they will increase the contract year after year by x%. Not that they might, they will.
This is not referenced on quotations, schedules, etc, just buried in the fine print. Their other recent stated strategy is to "milk the current customer base" to increase revenue.
This feels wrong...

So my work has unlimited PTO -global company. I'm based in uk and line manager is in USA. he said I'm taking to much time off and has brought it up with upper management. I have taken in total to date 22 days with 8 (4 include an operation) more to go. My performance is above target. I just feel blindsided.

How can I make my LinkedIn optimizable to 2 different roles. For example, I am interested in recruiting and project management roles. 2 of my previous jobs I worked as a clinical project manager but the projects I worked on I had to recruit (full cycle recruit) people to participate in the projects we were conducting. Is it okay to put Clinical Project Manger/Recruiter in my LinkedIn job titles for my previous companies?

I’m interested in getting a certificate in HR rather than going the SHRM or HRCI route. Do you believe that Certificates in HR are recognized just the same way as HR certifications?

I already have the SHRM-SCP. . would it be a value add to go for the SPHR as well?

Laid off. I’d like to temp/freelance (for cheap) somewhere I can learn digital at the technical level at a much more junior role. Possible? So many digital jobs and I can’t qualify for many of them.

Hello fishes, is it a red flag when I'm the ONLY one on my team who's happy with the management, meaning my boss and my boss's boss? Other than the two bosses, we have 6.

I have a team member who has a tendency to miss deadlines, is reluctant to take on tasks which they don't like or refuses to participate in company-wide mandates w/o me & the other team members validating the why's. Prior to joining my team, this behavior was alluded to but never told to me directly. Now I'm seeing it. I've discussed missed deadlines which are acknowledged but w/o permanent resolution. I'm going to give her a verbal warning in the upcoming review. Other suggestions?
