Upwork is an easy side gig. You can do writing, editing, whatever your current craft is, data entry, entry level voice work etc. Whatever you do you can probably freelance that skill out as a side hustle. Or just get a job at a popular bar near by.
I get work here as well. It is SUPER easy and the pay is great.
In my opinion, the service industry is where it is at. People on Nextdoor app are always looking for dog sitters, nannies, house cleaning etc. I’ve sold jewelry, made tshirts and tumblers and the profit isn’t there. Low overhead is best and managing your time to be most efficient in whatever you do. Best of luck!
I love my notary work side hustle!

I'm in the same boat, curious to see the responses
I enjoy the flipping market. I sell on an app called Mercari. I'm a spendthrift at heart who grew up poor. It can be difficult to break into but the rewards can be great.
If there's something material that you are knowledgeable about, be it clothes, books, or any type of collectable, and you know the resale value of such items, that would be a good place to start.
I have a background in vintage technology like VCRs, audio equipment, TVs, and other things like that. I also take a gander at books, pyrex and vintage houseware, clothes, and odds and ends for anything that may be worth a flip. I make a nice supplementary income from it that goes into savings and investments.
You can sell on whatever marketplace you choose: Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, eBay, etc. But it does require the time not only to photograph, list, and ship your items, but a keen interest in learning which items are worth your time. I'll often check my phone while in a thrift store to check out the going rate of an item I'm curious about, so each trip further homes those skills.
There are lots of flipping resources on YouTube, if you're curious about it as an opportunity, I'd recommend starting there.
Can you flip non branded items on Mercari? My mom was a seamstress, factory worker and she made a lot of our childhood clothes which I'd like to give away but doing so feels like lost opportunity and wasting her effort and money

I’ve run multiple million dollar businesses as an Executive, started my own business to help people create and scale businesses, so far this year I’ve helped 7 businesses. A cookie company, t shirt business, health and wellness business, and a sports betting business.
In one sentence, we focus on putting you first and then through a 6 month process build the business.
I’d be happy to set up a time to talk more in depth as it’s customized to the individual not a cookie cutter approach
I was looking into air bnb but i feel like the market is just so saturated.
It certainly depends on location and market, as you said. You also have to factor in the upkeep. Will you do it yourself, or pay someone to clean between tenants for you? My friends that have done this found it more of a chore than anything, despite the passive income.
Hi! After we started working from home, I wasn’t using my car very much so I started to rent it on Turo. It was surprisingly profitable so we bought a second car and also listed it on Turo. It more than covers the payment and we profit each month. Just a thought! Etsy and Airbnb experiences are also great options if you have a talent or something to offer.
