I work as Decision Scientist at Tesco. I'm 5.5 YOE. My promotion is delayed from past 2 months even though my manager assured of it before 8 months. I've got just 6% hike and my current fixed part if 18LPA. Disppointed by this, I said my manager that I'll not be continuing with Tesco. On the other hand, I am not getting my offers, how much ever I try. sometimes even if the interview goes well, I get ghosted. What should I do? I am really frustated.

So I get that in a corporate set up, you are supposed to be sharp and witty and think on your feet. Trouble is, I am extremely slow with comebacks. (Think Ross in Friends/Amy in B99) at the crunch moment, I generally end up not being able to give a good roast back. Unfortunately the best of them come to me like a few hours later (dinner/shower/TV) and I am left ruing and amazing opportunity to have gotten one back. I am awful at jibes and roasts.

I have got 2 offers -
Emerson export engineering - 15L fixed + 1.6 variable
Wolters Kluwer - 15L fixed + 10% bonus + 1L joining bonus

Which one is better and which should i join. Emerson is calling to office from 1st days and wolters kluwer have agreed for few months of work from home.

Any advice would be appreciated.
