If in new tax regime lta comes default as taxable
If old regime you can claim with travel receipts or it gets accumulated. You can also claim every month as taxable
Internet- can claim twice a year for 6 months each with bills under your name
Internet you are supposed to claim semi annually. It is not part of salary component but rather add on benefit. Along with LTA you have mobile bill claimable component which can be claimed on monthly basis and valid for post paid bills only. If not the amount gets accumulated and is added to your march salary.
Know, that telephone expense is for all. You can avail it on monthly basis by raising request for your postpaid bills on Concur then it will not be under tax.
But if you don't avail the telephone expense then you will get an lumpsum amount of 10k alongwith March salary.
So either way you will get that amount.
Now coming to Internet Wifi bills, its different and you can see it extra pay if you raise reimbursement. It should be done twice in a year with 6 month gap.(it saves time to company hence asked for 6-6 month wala thing)
