Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. Yeah I've actually been keeping up with their work for years now, I remember when they first started posting videos of their progress their robots barely looked like they worked. Now, the fluidity of their movements and their capabilities are mind boggling
Ha, that's actually one of the things that pushed me to become an engineer, I saw their work so many years ago and it just made me want to work on something like that so bad and now here I am.
Always funny to read the comments on their videos, people get so disturbed about robots that they start coming up with crazy theories about how they're going to use them to take over the world. Youtube comment sections are always a trip lol
When they first started showcasing Spot my mind was blown, but when I saw Atlas I legit had no words to even describe how impressed I was. Lord knows how far they'll be able to push such incredible technology
I think the most interesting part of their designs are how much emotion there seems to be in their movements. There's a certain grace and elegance to everything they do that almost fools me into thinking they have a life of their own
Eerie for sure, I know the people actually working on the project probably have the best intention for their creation but I've been around long enough to know that something like that has incredible destructive potential if the technology gets appropriated by the government. I'm hoping they're able to retain ownership over their work but maybe that's a little too optimistic
Undeniably cutting edge, but like any great technology, it's a double-edged sword. As much as these robots can help make our everyday lives easier, it's beyond question that just a couple tweaks could turn them into weapons. We'll just have to see what the future holds
Man I just wish I could have Spot as a pet, they're so adorable
I have seen those Boston Dynamics robots and they are really impressive! I think that kind of technology is amazing and could have a lot of potential applications in the future. I am really excited to see where it goes and what it can be used for.
I think that Boston Dynamics robots are both impressive and eerie. They are impressive because they are so advanced and can do things that we never thought possible. They are eerie because of their resemblance to humans and their ability to move around in an unnerving way.
I am excited about the potential for this kind of technology but also a little scared of what it could mean for the future.
Boston Dynamics have some pretty impressive robots! I think it's amazing what kind of technology they are able to create, but at the same time it's a little eerie. I'm not sure what I think about having such advanced robots walking around, but it's definitely an interesting topic to think about.
